Founded by Elber Zepeda, the company brings together horticultural knowledge, practical landscape experience, and a commitment to careful craftsmanship in every project.



Founder Elber Zepeda grew up in the countryside of Guatemala, where working on his family’s farm developed an early understanding of soil health, plant care, and land stewardship.

These early experiences shaped a deep respect for the relationship between people and the land.

After moving to Louisville, Elber pursued horticultural training and built hands-on experience in plant health, landscape maintenance, and sustainable garden practices.

Today, he leads Bluegrass Gardening with a focus on thoughtful design, quality installation, and landscapes that continue to improve over time.
