Bluegrass Gardening is a Louisville-based landscaping company focused on thoughtful garden design, quality plant installation, and long-term landscape care. Founded by Elber Zepeda, the company brings together horticultural knowledge, practical landscape experience, and a commitment to careful craftsmanship in every project.
Elber grew up in the countryside of Guatemala, where working on his family’s farm developed an early understanding of soil health, plant care, and land stewardship. These early experiences shaped a deep respect for the relationship between people and the land. After moving to Louisville, Elber pursued horticultural training and built hands-on experience in plant health, landscape maintenance, and sustainable garden practices. Today, he leads Bluegrass Gardening with a focus on thoughtful design, quality installation, and landscapes that continue to improve over time.

With a extensive background in agriculture and land management, as well as formal horticultural training, Elber ensures that every project reflects his commitment to sustainability and quality.

With years of hands-on experience in landscape work, Daywin plays an important role in guiding day-to-day field operations for Bluegrass Gardening. Known for his responsibility, work ethic, and steady leadership, he helps keep projects organized, supports the crew on site, and makes sure each job moves forward with care and attention to quality.
Landscape Installer
A steady and dependable part of the Bluegrass Gardening team, Kevin brings a practical, hands-on approach to each project. His background in the field has helped him develop strong installation skills, from planting and material handling to preparation and final cleanup. His reliability and calm attitude help support the consistency and professionalism of the crew.
Support & Finish
With a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn, Edson brings energy and focus to the Bluegrass Gardening team. He supports site preparation, planting, cleanup, and installation details while continuing to grow his skills in the field.
